Dell E176FP vs Acer AL2216W lcd monitor comparison

Acer AL2216W's monitor screen with its 22" we like more than 17" screen at Dell E176FP. For people who likes higher screen resolutions, 1680x1050 on AL2216W might be more preferable than 1280x1024 on E176FP.

Acer AL2216W has good response time of its pixels (5ms), but that is not case with Dell E176FP since its pixels response time is 12ms.

Picture on both monitors could be very bright (300 cd/m2). Contrast ratio is very good only on Acer AL2216W (700:1), the another model has poor contrast ratio (450:1). These tft monitors are poor choice for watching tv programs or movies since they haven't decent horizontal viewing angles (AL2216W has 170º and E176FP has 120º). These tft monitors are poor choice for watching tv programs or movies since they haven't decent vertical viewing angles (AL2216W has 160º and E176FP has 140º).
