Dell E176FP vs Acer AL1916W lcd monitor comparison
We think 19 inch screen at Acer AL1916W is better than 17 inches screen size at E176FP. Acer AL1916W lcd monitor have finer maximum screen resolution(1440x900) than other lcd monitor(1280x1024). 8 has decent pixels response time (8 ms) but that is not the case with Dell E176FP since it has 12ms. Both monitors are able to privide very bright picture (300 cd/m2). Both tft monitors have poor contrast ratio (AL1916W has 500:1 and E176FP has 450:1). Horizontal viewing angle is bad on both monitors (150º at Acer AL1916W and 120º at Dell E176FP) for watching movies. Verical angle is 140º on E176FP and 130 ºon AL1916W and those values makes them unsuitable for watching movies. Disadvantage of both is lack of DVI input for connection to some modern video cards.
