Apple LCM-22W2 vs Apple M9177LL lcd monitor comparison

Screen size at Apple LCM-22W2 is quite larger with its 22" than Apple M9177LL with 20". Maximum screen resolution (1680x1050) is same on both TFT monitors.

Aspect ratio on these monitors is 16:9 and that means they are wide. These TFT monitors have 16 ms pixel response time and it could be distracting to human eye.

Since LCM-22W2 has brightness 280cd/m2 and M9177LL has brightness 250cd/m2, therefore we can conclude that monitors able to privide very bright picture . LCM-22W2 has good contrast ratio (700:1) but that is not the case with M9177LL (400:1).

Only Apple LCM-22W2 has VGA input so you can connect it to some older video cards. DVI input which Apple M9177LL monitor has allows you to use it on modern video cards.
