Apple M9178LL/A vs Samsung SyncMaster 204BW tft monitor shopping comparison
We prefere 23 inch wide screen size at model M9178LL/A than 20 built at model SyncMaster 204BW. Apple M9178LL/A lcd monitor have finer maximum screen resolution(1920x1200) than other lcd monitor(1680x1050). Aspect ratio on these monitors is 16:9 for M9178LL/A and 16:10 for SyncMaster 204BW and that means they are wide. Samsung SyncMaster 204BW has good response time of its pixels (6ms), but that is not case with Apple M9178LL/A since its pixels response time is 16ms. Picture can be really bright only at SyncMaster 204BW (luminance is 300 cd/m2) and it cannot be so bright at M9178LL/A (luminance is 270 cd/m2). Contrast is very good only on Samsung SyncMaster 204BW (700:1), the another model has poor contrast ratio (400:1). Horizontal angle is 170º on M9178LL/A and 160 ºon SyncMaster 204BW and those values makes them unsuitable for watching movies.
