Apple M9177LL vs Samsung SyncMaster 970P tft monitor shopping reviews
Apple M9177LL's monitor screen with its 20" we like more than 19" screen at Samsung SyncMaster 970P. Apple M9177LL lcd monitor have finer maximum screen resolution(1680x1050) than other lcd monitor(1280x1024). Since Apple M9177LL maybe doesn't have good pixel response time with its 16 perhaps you might notice some ghost when scrolling . With 250 cd/m2 brightness we cannot say that these tft monitors can have really bright picture. Contrast ratio is 1000:1 on Samsung SyncMaster 970P which is good. But Apple M9177LL has contrast only 400:1. Both monitors have decent viewable horizontal angle (178º at SyncMaster 970P and 170º at M9177LL) so they are quite confortable for watching movies. Vertical angle is 178º on SyncMaster 970P and 170 ºon M9177LL and those values makes them suitable for watching movies. Only Samsung SyncMaster 970P has VGA input so you can connect it to older graphic cards. Both of these monitors have DVI to connect them to new video cards. More Information
