Apple M9177LL vs Samsung SyncMaster 244T lcd monitor reviews
We liked 24" monitor size on Samsung SyncMaster 244T significantly better than 20" monitor size at Apple M9177LL. Maximum screen resulution on Samsung SyncMaster 244T is 1920x1200, which might prefer graphic experts rather than 1680x1050 on Apple M9177LL. Both of compared LCD monitors are wide. You can feel that these monitors distracting to your eyes because their pixel response time is low (M9177LL has 16ms and SyncMaster 244T has 25ms). Picture on SyncMaster 244T could be very bright (500 cd/m2), but we cannot say the same for M9177LL (250cd/m2) Contrast ratio is very good only on Samsung SyncMaster 244T (1000:1), the another model has poor contrast (400:1). Horizontal viewing angle is decent on both monitors (178º at Samsung SyncMaster 244T and 170º at Apple M9177LL) for watching movies. Vertical angle is 178º on SyncMaster 244T and 170 ºon M9177LL and those values makes them suitable for watching movies. If you want to be able to connect your monitor to older computers, Apple M9177LL isn't good choice due to lack of VGA input. DVI input which these monitors have allows you to use with new graphic cards. Samsung SyncMaster 244T only has TV tuner. More Information
