Apple LCM-22W2 vs Samsung SyncMaster 205BW lcd monitor review
We think that LCM-22W2 has better screen with 22" inch size than SyncMaster 205BW with 20" large screen. The same on both LCD monitors is maximum screen resolution - 1680x1050. Both monitors are wide. Apple LCM-22W2 has aspect ratio 16:9 and Samsung SyncMaster 205BW has 16:10. Since Apple LCM-22W2 maybe doesn't have good pixel response time with its 16 perhaps you might notice some ghost when scrolling text on it. Picture can be really bright only at SyncMaster 205BW (luminance is 300 cd/m2) and it cannot be so bright at LCM-22W2 (luminance is 280 cd/m2). These monitors have good contrast (LCM-22W2 has 700:1 and SyncMaster 205BW has 600:1). Both of these monitors have VGA input jack for connection to older video cards. Samsung SyncMaster 205BW has DVI needed by some new video cards. More Information
