Apple M9178LL/A have larger screen (23") than eMachines E17T4 (17"). If you like higher screen resolutions than you might decide that Apple M9178LL/A is better with 1920x1200 than eMachines E17T4 with 1280x1024. You can feel that these monitors are distracting to eyes since their pixel response time is low (E17T4 has 12ms and M9178LL/A has 16ms).
