Screen size at Apple M9177LL is significantly larger with its 20" than Dell UltraSharp 1907FP with 19". With its declared 1680x1050 maximum resolution Apple M9177LL monitor beats Dell UltraSharp 1907FP with 1280x1024. Dell UltraSharp 1907FP has good response time of its pixels (8ms), but that is not case with Apple M9177LL since its pixels response time is 16ms. Dell UltraSharp 1907FP can produce very bright picture (300 cd/m2), but Apple M9177LL cannot since its brightness is 250 cd/m2. Only Dell UltraSharp 1907FP has good contrast ratio (700:1). Apple M9177LL has contrast of 400:1. These LCD monitors are poor for watching tv programs or movies since they haven't decent horizontal viewing angles (M9177LL has 170º and UltraSharp 1907FP has 140º).
