Acer AL2216W vs Westinghouse LCM-17v2 lcd monitor comparison
We like more Acer AL2216W 22" inch screen than Westinghouse LCM-17v2's 17" size. Graphic professionals might find Acer AL2216W model with its 1680x1050 maximum screen resulution more preferable. Decent response time has only Acer AL2216W with 5ms. Westinghouse LCM-17v2 haven't good pixel response time with 14ms. These TFT monitors can provide very bright picture (LCM-17v2 has luminance 350cd/m2 and AL2216W has 300cd/m2). AL2216W has good contrast (700:1) but that is not the case with LCM-17v2 (350:1). Both of these monitors have VGA input jack for connection to older graphic cards. DVI input which has Acer AL2216W is its adventage.
