Acer AL2216W vs ViewSonic VX922 tft monitor reviews
We think 22 inch screen at Acer AL2216W is better than 19 inches screen at VX922. With its declared 1680x1050 maximum screen resolution Acer AL2216W monitor beats ViewSonic VX922 with its 1280x1024. These monitors have decent response times of their pixels. Picture can be really bright only at AL2216W (luminance is 300 cd/m2) and it cannot be so bright at VX922 (luminance is 270 cd/m2). Contrast is good on these tft monitors (AL2216W has 700:1 and VX922 has 650:1). These monitors are poot for watching tv programs on them since they have horizontal viewing angle of 170º. Both monitors have poor viewable vertical angle (170º at VX922 and 160º at AL2216W) so they aren't confortable for watching movies.
