Acer AL2016W vs ViewSonic VA903b lcd monitor shopping review
Acer AL2016W's monitor screen with 20.1" we like more than 19" screen at ViewSonic VA903b. Acer AL2016W lcd monitor has better maximum screen resolution - 1680x1050, in contrast to 1280x1024 at ViewSonic VA903b. Both of compared monitors have decent pixel response times (8 ms). These monitors have brightness 300cd/m2 and that means they can have very bright picture. Both monitors have very good contrast (VA903b has 700:1 and AL2016W has 600:1). Horizontal viewing angle is bad on both monitors (160º at ViewSonic VA903b and 140º at Acer AL2016W) for watching . These LCD monitors are poor choice for watching tv programs or movies since they haven't good vertical viewing angles (VA903b has 160º and AL2016W has 130º). Both of these monitors have VGA input jack for connection to older video cards. Disadvantage of both is lack of DVI input for connection to some new graphic cards. More Information
