Acer AL1916Ab vs ViewSonic VX2235wm tft monitor comparison
Screen size on ViewSonic VX2235wm is larger, 22" comparing to 19" on Acer AL1916Ab. Graphic professionals might find ViewSonic VX2235wm model with its 1680x1050 maximum screen resulution more preferable. These monitors have decent response times (with 5ms on VX2235wm and 8ms on AL1916Ab). Since AL1916Ab has luminance 300cd/m2 it can produce much brighter picture than VX2235wm which has luminance 280cd/m2. These monitors have good contrast (contrast ratio of 700:1). These TFT monitors are poor choice for watching tv programs or movies since they haven't decent horizontal viewing angles (VX2235wm has 170º and AL1916Ab has 140º). Verical angle is 160º on VX2235wm and 140 ºon AL1916Ab and those values makes them unsuitable for watching movies.
