Acer AL2216W have larger screen (22") than Samsung SyncMaster 215TW (21"). The same on both LCD monitors is maximum screen resolution - 1680x1050. Both monitors have good response times of their pixels (Acer AL2216W has 5ms and Samsung SyncMaster 215TW has 8ms pixel response time). The picture on this TFT monitors can be very bright since brightness is 300cd/m2. These monitors have good contrast (SyncMaster 215TW has 1000:1 and AL2216W has 700:1).
