Acer AL2216W vs Samsung SyncMaster 203B tft monitor shopping comparison
We think 22 inch screen at Acer AL2216W is better than 20 inches screen size at SyncMaster 203B. Acer AL2216W lcd monitor have finer maximum screen resolution(1680x1050) than other lcd monitor(1400x1050). These monitors have decent response times (with 5ms on AL2216W and 8ms on SyncMaster 203B). Picture on both monitors could be very bright (300 cd/m2). These monitors have good contrast (AL2216W has 700:1 and SyncMaster 203B has 600:1). Both monitors have poor viewable horizontal angle (170º at AL2216W and 160º at SyncMaster 203B) so they aren't confortable for watching . These LCD monitors are poor for watching tv programs or movies on them since they have vertical viewing angle of 160º. Both of these monitors have VGA input jack for connection to older video cards. Presence of DVI allows you to connect these monitors to newer graphic cards. More Information
