Acer AL2016W vs Samsung SyncMaster 204B lcd monitor review
Both models have the same 20.1" screen size. Maximum declared screen resolution on AL2016W (1680x1050) beats SyncMaster 204B (1600x1200). Both of compared TFT monitors have decent pixel response times. Both monitors are able to privide very bright picture (300 cd/m2). Contrast is quite good on these tft monitors (SyncMaster 204B has 800:1 and AL2016W has 600:1). Horizontal angle is 160º on SyncMaster 204B and 140 ºon AL2016W and those values makes them unsuitable for watching . Vertical viewing angle is bad on both monitors (160º at Samsung SyncMaster 204B and 130º at Acer AL2016W) for watching movies. These TFT monitors have VGA input for connection to older video cards. DVI input which Samsung SyncMaster 204B monitor has allows you to use it on new video cards. More Information
