Acer AL1916W vs Samsung SyncMaster 225BW lcd monitor shopping reviews
Screen size at Samsung SyncMaster 225BW is quite larger with its 22" than Acer AL1916W with 19". For people who likes higher screen resolutions, 1680x1050 on SyncMaster 225BW might be more preferable than 1440x900 on AL1916W. Both of compared TFT monitors have aspect ratio 16:10. These monitors have decent response times (with 5ms on SyncMaster 225BW and 8ms on AL1916W). Acer AL1916W can produce very bright picture (300 cd/m2), but Samsung SyncMaster 225BW cannot since its brightness is 280 cd/m2. Contrast is 700:1 on Samsung SyncMaster 225BW which is good. But Acer AL1916W has contrast ratio only 500:1. Both monitors have VGA input so you can connect them to older video cards. Only Samsung SyncMaster 225BW has DVI input which allows you to connect it to some new video cards. More Information
