On both models screen size is 19". Both tft monitors have maximum declared screen resolution 1280x1024. These monitors have decent response times of their pixels. Both monitors are able to privide very bright picture (300 cd/m2). Contrast is very good on these tft monitors (SyncMaster 931BF has 2000:1 and AL1916Ab has 700:1).
