Acer AL1916Ab vs Samsung SyncMaster 244T lcd monitor comparison
Samsung SyncMaster 244T have larger screen (24") than Acer AL1916Ab (19"). For people who likes higher screen resolutions, 1920x1200 on SyncMaster 244T might be more preferable than 1280x1024 on AL1916Ab. Since Samsung SyncMaster 244T maybe doesn't have good pixel response time with 25 perhaps you might notice some ghost when scrolling on it. The picture on this TFT monitors can be very bright since luminance is 500cd/m2 at SyncMaster 244T and 300cd/m2 at AL1916Ab. Contrast ratio is very good on these tft monitors (SyncMaster 244T has 1000:1 and AL1916Ab has 700:1). Horizontal viewing angle is nice on both monitors (178º at Samsung SyncMaster 244T and 140º at Acer AL1916Ab) for watching movies. These TFT monitors are nice for watching tv programs or movies on them since they have decent vertical viewing angles (SyncMaster 244T has 178º and AL1916Ab has 140º). Both of these monitors have VGA input jack for connection to older graphic cards. DVI input which Samsung SyncMaster 244T monitor has allows you to use it on modern video cards.
