Acer AL1916Ab vs Samsung SyncMaster 205BW lcd monitor review
Screen size on Samsung SyncMaster 205BW is larger, 20" comparing to 19" on Acer AL1916Ab. If you like higher screen resolutions than you might decide that Samsung SyncMaster 205BW is better with 1680x1050 than Acer AL1916Ab with 1280x1024. Pixel response on these monitors is 6ms for SyncMaster 205BW and 8ms for AL1916Ab - they have nice pixel response times. Both monitors are able to privide very bright picture (300 cd/m2). These monitors have good contrast (AL1916Ab has 700:1 and SyncMaster 205BW has 600:1). Horizontal viewing angle is bad on both monitors (160º at Samsung SyncMaster 205BW and 140º at Acer AL1916Ab) for watching . Both monitors have poor viewable vertical angle (160º at SyncMaster 205BW and 140º at AL1916Ab) so they aren't quite confortable for watching movies. These LCD monitors have VGA input which you will need to connect them to older computer which don't have DVI input. DVI input which has Samsung SyncMaster 205BW is its adventage. More Information
