Screen size on NEC MultiSync 20WMGX2 is larger, 20.1" comparing to 20" on Acer AL2017bmd. Graphic professionals might find NEC MultiSync 20WMGX2 model with its 1680x1050 maximum screen resulution more preferable. Both of compared TFT monitors have decent pixel response times. The picture on this TFT monitors can be very bright since luminance is 470cd/m2 at MultiSync 20WMGX2 and 300cd/m2 at AL2017bmd. These monitors have good contrast (MultiSync 20WMGX2 has 1600:1 and AL2017bmd has 600:1). These TFT monitors have VGA input for connection to older graphic cards.
